This course provides the student-teacher with the opportunity to look at the various features of the RME syllabus for basic schools. It also equips them to apply various strategies and approaches for teaching Religious and Moral Education at the basic level. It seeks to equip them with knowledge and skills for lesson plan preparation in order to prepare them for classroom instruction. The course will also equip student-teachers with knowledge and skills required for assessing learners on RME in basic schools.
